It’s Valentine’s day, but unlike most countries Valentine’s day isn’t to celebrate both of the people in the relationship. In Korea they have three separate days… that is right THREE!
Valentine’s Day here is to celebrate the guy in the relationship, you are supposed to give him chocolates or other sweets.
Then, on March 14th is White Day, where the guy gives the girl chocolates or sweets.
Finally, on April 14th is Black Day. All of the single people who did not get to celebrate their respective holiday get together to eat black noodles. Just so everyone gets to celebrate a holiday i suppose…. If someone has a real explanation for black day please inform me.
